Our hero, Amarillo resident Jacob Isom, rescues a Quran from being burned by Christian fundamentalists, and his reaction is immortalized in the form of song. It’s not the best example of an interview from the local news being autotuned into a viral video—that honor belongs, of course, to the Bed Intruder Song—but there’s something so sympatisch about this (very goofy) guy’s selflessness that makes him fascinating to watch.
