Englisch transcript of Belarus election-fraud video
by Steffen Büffel. Average Reading Time: about 3 minutes.
One of the commentators in my Englisch posting here offers the following English transcript of the video. Thanks Rod, for your help. Another commentator, Alex, refers to a second translation on this website. The translations can now be compared. I have edited both transcripts in regard to typos and layout. The original layout of Rod’s translation can still be found in the comments!

The language they speak is Russian, this is my native language. I will use both transliteration (for other russian-speaking folks to correct me) and Ru-En translated text in my comment. I will refer to the man in the black suit as to the “Senior Supervisor”, though I’m not sure he is the one. Better than “manager”, anyway. There are numerous voices, hardly recognised at all. In the end, however, they get uncomfortably clear. All the time Supervisors are told (by different people, most of them not seen) to get off the desk, so they (Supervisors) ask the Senior Supervisor to show them the ballot-papers from afar. I’m not sure whether this is a legal practice, and i can’t comment much – I live in Russia, not in Belarus. Let’s go to the main part. Most phrases belong to the Senior Supervisor, except for the final part. My comments are framed in [] or in {} way. [Senior Supervisor demonstates the first pack - slim one] … protiv vseh, protiv vseh, protiv vseh – vidno? … vidno – protiv vseh. … “Against All Candidates”, “Against All Candidates” – do you see? “Against All Candidates”, that is. [Senior Supervisor demonstrates the second pack - another slim one] … etu pokazat? Pokazhu i zabrakovannie. Ot userdiya … ot userdiya, ot userdiya – eto vse bi prakticheski poshlo za Lukashenko. … want to see this one? I’ll show you even the rejected. More zeal than sense [about errors in ballots], more zeal than sense … – all this would be “For Lukashenko” otherwise. [Senior Supervisor goes on to the next pack - also slim - sorry, I’m not sure for this candidate’s surname] … dalshe kto? Gazulin? Gazulin. Gazulin? Gazulin … soglasni? Soglasni. … who’s next? Gazulin? Gazulin. Gazulin? Gazulin … do you agree? You do. [Senior Supervisor takes a pack from a woman to his right] … Gaidukevich. Vsya stopka. Nu, i tam esche. Vot eta i tam takaya zhe stopka. … Gaidukevich. All the pack. Ah, there’s another one. Yes, there’s another one, just like this one. = Final part = [Senior Supervisor investigates the last (the biggest) pack - doesn’t demonstrate, as the previous one] {First woman’s voice, woman not seen – one of Supervisors, probably} … nu prochitayte! … go on, read it! {Senior Supervisor} Da radi Boga! For God’s sake… [he means - “no problem”, “OK”] {Supervisor in green/grey sweater} Stop! Stop! {Second woman’s voice} Otoidite ot stola! Otoidite ot stola, vam govoryat! Get off the desk! Get off the desk, I do tell you! {Supervisor in green/grey sweater, the man with sharp voice; he’s pointing at the pack} Pochemu?! Pochemu etot bulleten zdes?! Posmotrite! Why?! Why is this ballot here?! Look at it! {Senior Supervisor} Stop! Pereschet, pereschet… Stop! Recalculate, recalculate… [about the number of votes in the pack] [...] Unfortunately, i didn’t manage to get anything valuable of the rest of the tape. Even worse, some security (?) guy obscures the view. On the whole, they agree to check the pack. Folks – it could be a random mistake. I do not believe in these elections being fair, but the sharp-eyed Supervisor only pointed out a single misplaced ballot-paper – from this tape, we do not know anything about the mentioned “recalculation” results. Btw, where are English, French, German speaking supervisors?.. Russia agreed that all was fair :/

Here’s my translation of what’s being said – unfortunately, I can’t hear everything they are saying, so this is incomplete. I’m still looking for transriptions from people with better ears. Chairman: Against everyone, against everyone, against everyone. Here, they were trying too hard and wrote on the backside. Trying too hard, trying too hard… It all goes to Lukashenko. Man: Why do you have Milinkevich votes in Lukashenko’s stack? Official: Walk away from the table! Quiet! … Man: Stop it, woman! Woman: You stop it, man! Don’t address me like that – woman! … The last words heard on the video: Man, quietly: Half of them are for Milinkevich!
